Ann Parker

Ann Parker, whose work has appeared on several occasions in Australian Artist Magazine, is an award-winning artist and a teacher with over 25 years’ experience and holds an Associate Dip. Fine Arts.

Working with a diverse range of mediums, which include Oils, Pastels, Acrylics, drawing mediums, collage and mixed media.

Ann describes herself as a ‘Restless Painter’, due to her passion for experimentation with a host mediums and techniques and a love of a wide variety of genre’, from Traditional Still Life to the Surreal, because of this, her concepts and painting style are governed entirely by what inspires her at any given moment and therefore  employs whatever method or materials she feels will achieve that vision.

Ann is currently developing an online tutorial ‘LET’S START AT THE BEGINNING – Painting’, with the aim of providing a broad understanding of painting techniques, materials and tools, which she believes will afford students a good solid start to becoming a proficient painter.
